Upper Iowa University Commencement 2009

and I'm one of the graduate! Finally finally finally :)

#1 Path to graduation :)

#2 Graduate bear as gift from parents. Mom prepared everything. She's always the planner and has all kinds of ideas :)

Before we left in the morning, she brought a big paper bag. I asked her what's in it she said clothes that father and her wanna change later on. So I didn't suspect anything. Then she wants to bring it with her to the ceremony. I told her why want to carry such a big bag? put it in the car first then we take it later. She said nevermind.

After registration, we were hanging around. She took out the bear from the paper bag! Hahaha! I wanted to cry T_T touched. She diy-ed and sew the yellow ribbon on the bear's gown. So the bear is a mini version of me despite the bear is hairy and I'm obviously not hahaha!

I have more pictures with Wei Leng. I realise that my "official photographer" (thebf and thebrother) didn't take picture of me and friends wtf.

After all the speech, and graduates switch tassel from right to the left. They played a collage of all graduates. *sob sob* Felt like crying when saw those pictures. Remember to appreciate every moment you have in college/university :)

Oh ya next to the mini mortar board, the folder thingy, mom fake it too haha! Graduate bear is exactly graduate Low Jiayi.

I am not on the dean list. This is the only regret I have. Failed to make my parents really proud of me when the announcer call out my name. Without at least a cum laude behind my name, I felt sorry to parents that I didn't really work hard to earn it. Well, what's done is done. I shall make them proud by being successful in my job?

Big big big thank you to my parents who there for me all these years and coming years I believe. Especially mom, she deserve all the credits. Not because she gave me a bear of course haha. For what she's been through and still being understanding and supportive.

When they asked all guests to raise during the ceremony, I cheered loudly and proud to have them all here on my big day. *sob sob*

Felt loved on important day! Another stage of life begins :)
