China Pavilion

Image
Last day at Shanghai, we went to one of the Shanghai EXPO entrance. We don't have the time to queue so we went to the entrance that we can see China Pavilion. Better than nothing :) #1 #2 Long list of prohibited items. #3 #4 That's only 10% of the crowd. Is only 9am. #5 Well prepared with mobile toilets. #6 #7 Another 10% of crowd queuing to buy ticket o.O #8 We went to the 5th entrance. There are 13 entrances in total. #9 #10 Jalur Gemilang! #11 China Pavilion! Will look a lot nicer with lights at night. #12 Last 3 days was raining. Can't believe the last day will be sunny day. I would say is a hot hot hot day! 38 °C T_T #13 #14 #15 Nothing much to see since we didn't buy ticket. So off we go to Huai Hai road. I finally step in H&M and have to constantly hold myself back :( Then...last destination is Barbie shop!

Simple yet powerful love

Was reading The Wedding at studio last night. Thebf played this song. I was reading on Wilson's plan for their anniversary, he was trying to make it up to his wife as he forgot their anniversary last year. He wasn't a romantic person but he knows he disappointed his wife all these years and he's trying his very best to change. Somehow I find this song matches the part I read. It was the simple life, love and romance every girls have always wanted. We do not want fancy nor expensive stuffs to feel romantic or loved. Is the simple gesture, the thought of doing it counts. Even is the plan failed, but knowing you put efforts in making it possible, we know by heart how much the man really love us. At least, we know how much he's willing to do for us. I'm done with The Wedding! I'm very surprised of the ending and I cried. Seeing a man who's so studious, willing to make a change for a woman, changed himself to be a romantic person. At least he tried and of course,

Food in Shanghai

Day 3 is the 2nd day of my workshop in Shanghai. Not going to talk about how bad it is. Two pictures to show you how my event usually look like. #1 Rolling Forecast & Effective Budgeting. My first event and ended as my first disaster in my first job. #2 Registration table and our bunting. Ya I'm not dealing with commercial events like roadshow. My events are very formal. We asked the people assisted us for our event where to eat good food. They recommended a restaurant and is a total disappointment. #3 The Chinese & Western Restaurant located near Novotel Atlantis Shanghai. The place wasn't hygiene, service so- so, food also so-so. This proven without boss, no good food :( #4 Lunch set #5 Oyster cod fish #6 Vegetable #7 Steam egg #8 Chicken soup Dinner with Boss because we have to report on the event. Again, one word as summary: Disaster! Well, at least we have good food. Big thank you to boss for treating us :) #9 Steam chicken #10 Omelet with prawn #11 Si C

The Bund

Is the first day of my event. It was drizzling, one hand holding umbrella another dragging luggage bag. Walked about 15 minutes from subway station to Novotel Atlantis Shanghai. At that moment, I just can't stop repeating FML FML FML! I know handling an event is stressful and there's a lot of work to do and problems to deal with. I didn't prepare myself for this. Dragging luggage bag, walked under the rain, wet myself and walked on heels for 15 minutes. For those who know me, I don't wear heels normally unless needed to. So, FML would be the alphabets ever to describe my feelings at that moment. Add on to that, even on the first day, participants had complaint about the trainer. Some said they refuse to pay full amount, some refused to come for the 2nd day course. Well, FML again. Boss went off before lunch time, we had lunch at a restaurant he recommended. Honestly, I dislike the place and food wasn't as nice as he told us. I didn't finish my food, portion was

Love hate relationship

I have love hate relationship with reading. I do not like to read since primary school. Mainly because my father will force us to go National Library every school holiday. I remembered sneaking off to read Doraemon instead of the books he wants us to read. I know the advantage of reading but somehow I just don't like to be force to do something. I will do it when I feel like doing it. Guess this applies to everyone. So, somehow I just hate reading. As years go by, I'm older more matured now, I started to pick up reading again and falling in love with it :) I like to read romance novel. The reason is obvious, I'm a typical girl who always have fantasy about love. Hence, I love to watch drama and now, reading novel. Reading novel make room for imagination. I can imagine I'm one of the character and imagine the guy of my choice for the other character. Living in my imaginary world according to the script(novel). I'm the director of the movie playing in my head :) I

Day 1 - Shanghai

Image
Shanghai trip wasn't smooth sailing at all. All started with my trainer missed his flight, thinking is 1.50pm. For a person who said he travelled very often, is quite surprising that he don't understand an e-ticket is based on 24 hours format. It was a midnight flight. Had breakfast at 6am on plane. I vomited while waiting for luggages. Didn't have enough sleep and wasn't feeling well on plane. We took Maglev train to Long Yang Road subway station. It only took 6mins from Pudong Airport to Long Yang Road station. Although is really fast, but you don't feel it. Then, to spice up the tiring journey, we have to drag our luggage from subway station to another station. The going down to subway station doesn't have escalator. Yes, we have to dragged it down the stairs. Bare in mind that I have a trolley luggage, another huge hand luggage, was a rainy day so another hand was holding umbrella. I must be an octopus that day. Imagine the situation yourself. Finally heard
