23rd Birthday: Fine Dining

Image
My bosses were really nice, they brought me to Shangri La Hotel to celebrate my birthday and also my colleague's farewell. I know it sounded kinda ironic but we all had a good time. Farewell doesn't always have to be sad right? We have to believe that she leave for a better future :) The next day, I flew to Singapore with Chyeli and Munyeng for another round of birthday celebration! Well, Munyeng was there to attend Rainie Yang's concert but it was good to catch up with her. Sad to say that I seldom meet up with friends although we are living in the same city, some of us even live just 15 minutes away! Bad I know, shall call for meet up more often in November hehe! As mentioned last post, Ah Bo greeted me with the cute balloon. Then, we took mrt to the city to meet Vicky. Had lunch at MOS burger which is a must for me to at least drink their milk tea whenever I'm at Singapore. Checked in hotel after lunch. Grand Park Hotel is nice! Thanks Ah Bo for booking :) Took reall

#1 AhBo greeted me at the airport with the balloon! I was shy to hold it but at the same time, was proud to have friend like her :) It was just a week ago, I celebrated my birthday with close friends. It was also a day I was blessed with wishes. This is why I love birthday. It is a day where everything seems to be alright, sweet and happy! Missed the time where we sit and chat at Marina Bay Sands. I miss hanging out with friends. I have been travelling pretty often these two months. I still love my job, but I hope I can still manage my time for friends and family. Working hard to balance it up hehe! Will blog about my birthday trip soon, most probably it will be up in November lol! In the mean time, would like to shout out loud to EVERYONE WHO WISHES ME, Thank YOU! XD To friends who participate in the video and plan my birthday trip, LOVE you all :)

Hi and Bye

Say Hi to Brad Pitt! Bye to Bangkok. Is our last day, but Mom needs to do last minute shopping. We walked from Siam Discovery back to Siam Paragon. A girl approached us and talked about Madame Tussauds wax museum opening in Bangkok. My radar spotted a cute guy standing still next to a bunting. Is Brad Pitt! Gosh...is actually made of wax but is soooooo real! #1 Being very kiasu, I have to take picture with him on his left too. #2 Rare opportunity to meet Brad Pitt, so I requested for a closer shot. #3 #4 Mom and Brad Pitt :) #5 #6 So real right? Right?!! Madame Tussauds is opening next year at Siam Discovery. Entrance fees is 700bahts which I don't think is expensive. Should worth every penny to appreciate great art :) Mom's Japanese food craving hits her so we had Jap food before we leave to airport. #7 #8 #9 I love my bowl haha! We took the same route to airport which is by Airport Rail Link. It is a pain to drag our luggage bags all the way to BTS station then Airp

Last but not least

that I'm leaving Bangkok the next day. Had my last round of shopping at Platinum Mall. Managed to get shoes I wanted! Nearly bought same design but all different colors. That's how crazy I am when I shop alone. Note to self: Must bring companion for shopping. Aunty Lily insisted to treat us for dinner so we dine in Central World's food court. Food is good and cheap! #1 Beloved mango sticky rice #2 Fish ball noodle added chili flakes to my liking. *thumbs up* #3 Papaya Salad Just so you know, I had papaya salad for 6 days in Bangkok. That means, every single day lol! #4 Mom's grilled salmon I think she has a thing for Japanese food. Out of 7 days in Bangkok, she had Jap food for at least 3 days. Let's conclude my buys in Bangkok #5 #6 #7 I came with this amount of clothes #8 I'm home with these :) That's actually half full because I added more stuffs in it after this picture was taken lol! Shopping is love :)

Adventurous J

Almost every morning I check my work mail at the secretariat room where my mom's workshop held. I have chance to chat with the girl in charge who is Jina. After spending 2 days at Platinum Mall, I need to explore new shopping place. Jina suggested Siam Square which is also within walking distance from my hotel. #1 Me and my shopping bag wtf #2 Siam Square I guess I'm pretty bad in locating street names. I don't know which Soi I'm at when Jina suggested to go Soi 2 and 3. To me, the best solution is to remember the route of how you walk and just go back accordingly. Don't bother locating the alleys, just walk in the shops that interest you. Sadly to say that things are pretty expensive at Siam Square. But but but...is unique. If I have extra cash, I don't mind buying. I would say is quite similar to Bangsar area in KL. Look who I ran into at Siam Square! #3 Not once, but twice! #4 :) :) :) I miss you! So need an ipod touch so I could at least hear you or watc

Shopping alone isn't fun

Image
Ya, not fun when it comes to Platinum Mall. I'm sorta force to buy another piece when I only like one piece from a shop. Same goes for bags too. #1 #2 Yours truly ready for shopping. That colorful bag is a gift from Mom's friend. I thought it would be good to use it although I look weird with it. Lunch at Platinum Mall food court. #3 Pork ball noodle added with chili flakes to my liking The colorful bag with things I purchased... #4 Mom brought me along to the reception organized by Bangkok office. She introduced me to everyone and the nervous moment started. I'm really bad in socializing especially when it comes to talking to people who are more superior than me. I don't feel confident to talk. Is really hard to start a topic with stranger, at least for me it is. I'm always afraid that the way I talk will leave bad impression. Is so stressful for me to talk to people I don't know which I think I have to overcome the insecurity and just be myself. Perhaps i
